lanvin is pleased to announce the opening of its first global retail space since bruno sialelli became the house’s creative director, opening September 7th on 150 mercer street in new york city’s soho.
Bruno Sialelli in collaboration with LANVIN’s visual division designed the retail space specifically to reflect the brand’s new creative direction and to highlight the history and prestige of the New York City neighborhood.
The striking concept space features an elevated light interior that creates a positive tension against original elements of the building and is accentuated with vast expanses of mirrors, custom artwork by Luke Edward Hall and an extensive ramp that draws customers into the heart of the space. Collectively, these elements create a modern platform to showcase the brand’s latest collections designed by Bruno Sialelli including the recently launched Hook Bag. The ramp is a centralized structure that descends into the main space creating a highly immersive entry into the LANVIN world.Luke Edward Hall, an acclaimed London-based artist and designer, was commissioned to produce an artwork that merges art, area and product into not only a space but an experience.
By opening its first boutique in New York City in eight years, LANVIN expands the house’s legacy and promotes its vision for a world where art, fashion and a bit of whimsy are all combined.
