PURPOSE

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions of Sales is to set out the rights and obligations of both parties, exclusively within the framework of the relationships they initiate on the internet, concerning any online sale of the Products offered on the internet site www.lanvin.com.

Within the framework of electronic sales, i.e. via the retail website, the customer declares to have read these general terms and conditions before placing his order. The validation of his order constitutes acceptance without limitation or reservation of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern all the steps necessary to place the order and ensure the follow-up of this order.

This document is the sole document applicable to the relationship between the Parties. In accordance with the provisions of Article 1369-1 of the Civil Code, these General Terms and Conditions of Sale may be electronically saved, printed and kept by any person accessing the internet site Lanvin.com. On the General Terms and Conditions of Sale placed online on the official Lanvin.com site are enforceable towards LANVIN.

The distance selling process set up by LANVIN complies with the requirements of Articles L.111-1, L. 113-3 and L. 121-18 et seq. of the Consumer Code.

It is specified that LANVIN does not carry out any telephone solicitation of its customers or prospects, and that consequently, the provisions of Articles L. 121.21 et seq. of the Consumer Code are not applicable to sales governed by these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

The use of the distance selling process described in these General Terms and Conditions of Sale is reserved only for consumers acting exclusively for their own account.

ARTICLES

Information relating to articles

The information relating to LANVIN products which may be sold online is available, with their references, in all LANVIN shops (list of available Shops on the Lanvin.com site) as well as on the Lanvin.com internet site.
This information complies with the requirements laid down by the legal and regulatory texts in force and, in particular, by Articles L. 111-1 and L. 113-3 of the Consumer Code.

Product Availability and Authenticity

LANVIN products available for purchase online include handbags, wallets, shoes, luggage, jewellery, gifts and ready to wear. All products are subject to availability; and we reserve the right to limit the quantity of products we supply; supply only part of an order or to split orders. We also reserve the right to alter the terms or duration of any special offers or sale promotion. We will inform you if we are unable to fill your order.
In accordance with the provisions of Article L.122-1 çf the Consumer Code, LANVIN shall be entitled to refuse any abnormal order or order placed in bad faith. In addition, LANVIN shall be entitled to refuse any order from a customer with whom there is any dispute relating to the payment of a previous order.
We guarantee the authenticity of all products purchased through LANVIN online. LANVIN products are crafted with the highest quality materials, design and workmanship.
The products are intended for personal use by the user, and not directly intended for the latter's professional use.

HOW TO PURCHASE

Depending on availability, purchases may be made either directly through LANVIN.com or through the assistance of our online personal assistants. Online purchases from this section of the website may be made by residents of France (Metropolitan France, including Corsica), Monaco, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Sweden, Spain for delivery to clients in these countries.

The photographs, graphics and descriptions of products offered for sale are only indicative and are in no way binding on LANVIN. Customers may obtain additional information by contacting the LANVIN customer service by email at the following address:

In the event of prolonged activity during the connection, it is possible that the selection of articles chosen before such inactivity is no longer guaranteed. The customer will be invited to perform his selection once more from the beginning.

All steps necessary for the sale are specified in the internet site Lanvin.com, in accordance with the provisions of Article 1369-1 of the Civil Code.

Before validating his order, the customer will have the opportunity to check the details of his order and its total price. He may also modify, if necessary, the information transmitted or the content of the order. The confirmation of the order expresses his acceptance and gives rise to an obligation to pay.

Once the order has been validated, LANVIN will immediately confirm receipt of this order by email. The order is considered final from the time it is sent.

Following the confirmation of your order, we shall endeavour to meet your request as soon as possible. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of articles in stock. In the event of unavailability of the article(s) ordered, we shall inform you as soon as possible by an email cancelling said order.

PRICING

Prices displayed on the LANVIN website are quoted in EURO and GBP including any VAT and applicable taxes. While we try to ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the merchandise you have ordered, we will give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled.

The prices indicated do not include shipping and delivery charges. The user shall be informed of these charges on final confirmation of the order.

In accordance with Article L.121-19 of the Consumer Code, the customer will receive, on delivery, an invoice showing the price of each article and the delivery costs.

In accordance with Article L.121-20-3 of the Consumer Code, the delivery of articles ordered shall take place no later than 30 days from the date of the order, subject to full payment of the price, with the exceptions of pre-ordered articles which will be delivered within a period of 30 days from the availability of the article.

If the external appearance of the package is not perfect at the time of delivery, the customer is invited to open his package in the presence of the carrier and to indicate, if necessary, any damage to the articles noted on the delivery slip.

PAYMENT

LANVIN accepts only the following forms of payment for online purchases:

For added security, your billing address at Lanvin.com must exactly match the address on file at your credit card company. The processing of your order may be delayed if these addresses are different. We do not accept:
• personal cheques
• money orders and wire transfers
• COD
• payment in instalments

Please note that we cannot presently accept gift certificates for online purchases.

The transaction will be charged to your credit card only after we have verified your card details, received credit authorization and confirmed stock availability, and that your order is ready to be shipped. Your credit card will not be charged at the time you confirm your order but will be pre-authorized for £1 / 1 € for validation purposes.

In the event where, for any reason whatsoever (opposition, refusal by the issuing centre, etc.) it is impossible to debit the amounts due by the customer, the sale made will be cancelled immediately, and the purchase process on the internet will be cancelled.

PACKAGING

Products purchased from LANVIN online arrive packaged in a manner suitable for gift giving.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Please note that, for security reasons, LANVIN online purchases will require an adult signature upon delivery. In addition, purchases may not be shipped to P.O. boxes.

The delivery of articles will take place at the address indicated by the customer, after payment of the amount of the order has been recorded.

All purchases are shipped via UPS. To estimate the total delivery time for your purchase, please allow one to two business days to process your order for shipment, in addition to the time indicated by the shipping method. Orders are processed and delivered Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. LANVIN cannot be responsible for unanticipated delays.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

LANVIN wishes to guarantee complete satisfaction to customers having placed an order on the site lanvin.com. Therefore, in accordance with the provisions set forth in Article L.121-1 of the Consumer Code, the customer has a period of withdrawal of 15 days from the date of delivery of the last product of the order.

We will endeavour to comply with your request as soon as possible.

Please be informed that this right of withdrawal is exercised without the need to provide reasons for your decision. Shipping costs are refundable.

The total amount of the order for which you wish to withdraw shall be credited to the bank card used to pay the product. Your bank account will be credited upon processing of the returned item, and the credit should appear on your next statement.

The reimbursement of the order will be processed no later than within 10 business days following receipt of the product or proof that it has been reshipped.

LANVIN will accept the return of goods provided they are in their original condition and accompanied by their original sales invoice. Please note that we cannot accept merchandise that has been worn, used, altered or damaged.

Please note that returns must be made through lanvin.com following such instructions and that returns cannot be accepted at Lanvin stores.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

The products ordered may be returned and exchanged within a period of 15 days following the date of delivery.

Returns and exchanges will be processed as soon as possible and no later than within 10 business days following receipt of the product or proof that it has been reshipped.

For online purchases, LANVIN will accept merchandise in its original condition for a full refund/exchange when accompanied by the original sales invoice. Please note that we cannot accept merchandise that has been worn, used, altered or damaged.

Please note that returns and exchanges must be made through lanvin.com following such instructions and that returns and exchanges cannot be accepted at Lanvin stores. Therefore, the customer shall return the articles delivered in their original packaging (boxes, accessories, protections, covers, labels, etc.) and accompanied by the invoice, to the following address:

Please note that it is the responsibility of the customer to show proof of the return of the article to LANVIN. Therefore, we advise you to use means of shipment which establish a definite date (registered letter or UPS).

No exchange may be carried out in the LANVIN shops and points of sale.

The total amount of the return will be re-credited to the original credit card used to pay the product. Your bank account will be credited upon processing of the returned item, and the credit should appear on your next statement.

Please note that shipping costs will not be subject to refund unless there was an error made by LANVIN in the original shipment.

Every effort will be made to ensure a prompt refund or exchange and an email notification will be sent once the return/exchange has been processed.

We recommend that you ship merchandise via UPS or insured parcel post for tracking purposes and that you request adequate insurance to cover the purchase price of the shipment. LANVIN will not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation in the event that return/exchange packages are lost, stolen, or mishandled.

LANVIN reserves the right to refuse return or exchange of any merchandise that does not meet the above requirements at LANVIN's sole discretion.

The exchange of an item purchased on lanvin.com, involves an easy two-step process:
— an online selection to identify and to purchase the replacement item.
— the return of the original item following the steps described above.
Please note that the returned item must be received by LANVIN in its original condition and that new orders are subject to LANVIN having available merchandise on-hand. Shipping charges for any returned item(s) are the client's responsibility, unless there was an error made by LANVIN in the original shipment. Your exchange item(s) will be sent to you via UPS at no additional cost.

WARRANTIES

LANVIN takes particular care when sending packages to ensure that they correspond to the order placed by the Customer. However, the customer must ensure that the articles delivered to him correspond to his order. In the event where the delivered articles do not comply with his order, the customer must inform the e-commerce department of Jeanne Lanvin by email and return the articles in question in the conditions set forth in the article RETURNS AND EXCHANGES of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Please enclose a detailed repair request, your contact information, and the original sales invoice. We recommend that you package the item securely and ship it via insured mail. Please allow approximately 4 weeks for a repair assessment. Detailed repair information and a repair charge estimate will be sent to you once the assessment has been completed.
